About Twisted Bricks

As a kid growing up in Mandan, North Dakota, I had to find creative ways to spend my time.  My parents were fairly strict when it came to entertainment; our household was video game and TV-free.  But I don't want to make it sound like I'm complaining, because I was in fact greatly blessed with the greatest toy of all time; LEGO.

I had discovered a hobby that would eventually grow into a true passion. Over the years, shaky and poorly-lit fight scenes made way to hour-long epics. Combining my love for monsters and sci-fi with my passion for LEGO and brickfilming, The LEGO Zombie Apocalypse Youtube series was born.  I dedicated hundreds of hours to honing the craft of brickfilming. I organized dozens of voice-acting sessions with my talented friends and family, for whom I am forever grateful.

Who can know how many hours I spent in our unfinished basement putting LEGO sets together just to take them apart the next week. From silly little builds and games to ambitious MOC (My-Own-Creation) projects, my youth was marked by a desire to simply create. It didn't take long before I discovered Brickfilms (LEGO stop motion animations), and then everything changed.
