Slag
Slag is a carnivorous organism whose physiology loosely resembles that of a fungus. It is distinguished by possession of one or more orange neuronic cores (nores), production of infectious s-fields, and physical plasticity.
Slag is the slang term used to describe the alien organism Boletus Mortiferum, often referred to as "the fungus", "the virus", or "krozox". The origins of slag are yet unknown, though it is believed to have originated from far beyond the solar system of Earth.
Slag takes many forms, too varied to accurately categorize. However, several patterns seem to be common. A few examples include Clods, Runners, Mutations, Floaters, and sligs.
